Why am I not asleep? o_o

RHAPSODY PYELS and BILLY CASPIAN
LEGACY

Since seeing some of the other neighborhoods, I had wanted to play in something other than Sunset Valley, especially Riverside (or River-something-whatever its name is). Its has a small town, country feel to it that I liked.

However, to do this you have to cut all ties with the existing people in your old neighborhood - so you lose your parents and friends and even any children that don't live with you. Because of this I didn't want to move out the Sekemoto family, not when I have it established in that neighborhood.

So my eyes turned to Rhapsody Pyels, the adopted daughter of Reed Pyels and Lyer Roads. She was their second daughter and their pride and joy (ie, my favorite). I had actually planned to play her, however then I became interested in the dynamic being created by Elizabeth and Sam.

Now, however, worked perfectly. I had moved her out, but that was it so she had no other relationships. Having spent all her teen years working on her writing skill, she didn't have a close relationship to her siblings and I was willing to lose her relationship with her parents.

This is her story now and she's my active household:

Rhapsody Pyels Caspian

Pisces

Active Traits:
Slob
Hopeless Romantic
Ambitious
Artistic
Vehicle Enthusiast

Since she was a teen, Rhapsody has wanted to become a Professional Author, earning over 4,000 simoleans in royalties a week. With her ambitious mind and quick fingers, it didn't take her long and she had already submitted three books by the time she became an young adult.
She has now already completed her life's wish and written over 10 books, specializing in the Mystery genre, but stretching out into Romance and some Sci-fi. (Strangely, although the majority of her books are Mysteries, her Romance novels make three times the amount any of the Mysteries do. I think this is because she was a teen when she wrote most of the Mysteries). While she has a few hits, she is still waiting for that bestseller.

A few titles written by her that you may have seen around are; A Time for Love, Lover's Row, The Files of J. Casper, Time Spy, A Sim Apart, Lovers' Descent, and The Jasperian Gem. (haha, those are the only ones I can remember off the top of my head).
Aphrodite's Garden, her favorite haunt

When she moved to her new city, Rhapsody became interested in club life and mixology. It was here that she met her other half, Billy Caspian.

Billy Caspian
Cancer

Loner
Over Emotional
Slob
Inappropriate
Artistic
Of course, it wasn't after she was head over heels with him and he's moved in that I saw his trait list. *sigh* But I can live with it and its not really as bad as it seems. Billy's dream is to became a Master of the Arts and he's working hard to bring himself up in the ranks of the Music career.
Billy's awesome tatoo - its a plum bob! gone tribal!

He took quite an interest in Mixology, especially since thier last trip to France where he visted the Nectary. His spare time is spent learning guitar, gardening, and spending time with his twins. That's right, twins!

Shortly after Billy preposed to Rhapsody and they became married...

Their first set of youngsters were twin boys! Although Rhapsody had dreamed of having a little girl, she loves her twins just as much naming them Quin and David. (Although, strangely all their current wants seem to focus on David, the younger twin, instead of both he and Quin ><;; I don't really know why, their relationship status is the same for both boys *shrugs*).

And so the office...

Becomes a nursery ^.^;

But children grow up quickly, and soon Billy and Rhapsody find themselves teaching the ropes to a new generation.

Quin Caspian

Pisces

Virtuoso
Eccentric

Firstborn Twin

David Caspian

Leo

Brave
Genius

Secondborn

Keepin' Rhapsody busy.

Other than Rhapsody achieving her lifetime goal and Billy gaining some ranks in the Music career, nothing much happened in between their toddler and child stage. Oh, except with the hit of her book Rhapsody became a celebrity and quickly rose to 3-Stars (unfortunately, was hoping I could avoid the celebrity thing this time around. Now she and Billy are both 3-stars >_< and gates apparently don't keep out paparazzi..)

David Caspian

Despite the fact that he had a great childhood, the game tells me evertime that it was "moderately good" and doesn't let me choose a child trait - so they gave him Easliy Impressed.

Quin Caspian

The same is true for his brother, who got Star Quality. At least it works, since he's a virtuoso, I can have him become a rock star.

Haha, the both have droopy eyes *shakes head*

Trip to France.

Ancient Celtic ruins.

Billy travels inside the ruins to find a missing object.

Well, that's all I have up for now. If I haven't updated the Sekemoto family to their current point (teens) then I will do that tomorrow. Now, it is about 4 am. I think I should sleep, lol.

Lone Wolfe Manor

Lone Wolfe Manor is very...not lone wolfish? Haha. When I think of the name, I think of a slightly creepy old gothic/victorian house - you know, wrap around porch, tall windows, etc. However, as you can see from the images below, I wanted to do a Mediteranean inspired house - so that's what Lone Wolfe Manor is.

While I looked at various Mediteranean and Luxury house-plans, the design for the house and layout are my own. I wouldn't say this is my favorite house, however I do find it easy to use/play in.

Currently the Sekemoto Family lives in this house and the house was built with them in mind (you can also see all the hole from where my eccentric inventor, Sam, has been drilling with the Miner, haha).

Foyer
The house starts with the Two-Story Foyer. Twin staircases lead to the second level of the home, flanking an elevator that leads to the basement level. At the top of the Foyer is a small music alcove with a sweeping view of the bay beyond, catching both the ocean and the lighthouse.

Although I tried to get a shot of the view, the piano kept getting in the way (which you see Everard playing on)

Lower Foyer
This is a view of the front entrance within the first floor of the Foyer. All paintings in the house are done by Everard and Aurora Sekemoto, whereas all sculptures are done by Elizabeth (their mother).
The Foyer opens into the Formal Dining Room

Formal Dining Room.

And the Foyer opens into the Family Room

Family Room

The three glass doors in the Family Room open onto the Patio, again with a sweeping view of the Bay.

The Dining room and Family room both open into the Kitchen.

Which has its own Breakfast nook or Informal
Dining room.

Off the Kitchen is the Mud Room.
Which also houses the Utilities. This space also has an entrance form the driveway and in the future may have another to the Patio and garden area as Sam extends his orchard.

Mudroom also has a Petite Lou ->

The Formal Dining is also the entrance to the Study. Sorry for the dark picture - I was taking these in Sim mode and it was night. For some reason the light in tihs room weren't on.

The three regular bedrooms; Aurora's, Everard's, and Alfred's. Since the Triplets just turned into children, I haven't had a chance to upgrade the house with their bedrooms. I think I will simply give them their own wing - a hallway that opens into their three rooms and their own bathroom. Not sure where I will put it yet, may just have to add it as a third story (which I don't really like doing. Takes them too long to long to walk. I may instead create a third story and move Everard and Aurora up there, since Everard is an adult and Aurora will be one in a day or so. They will be moving out, but I want to get their relationships up and everyone to have the LongDistance Friends reward before they do.)

The Art room, where most action takes place. Everard spends the majority of his time in here either at the easel or on the drafting table. I wanted him to become a Drafter,  however for some reason my game is misisng the textures for the drafting images so I had him up his painting skill instead. (I noticed he tends to paint abtract art more than anything. strange). Aurora is also an artist, however she has an easel downstairs that she and Alfred use.

Master Bathroom
The master bath is split into two rooms - this is the Bathing room (the camera is right above the claw-foot tub).

Master Bathroom
And this is the Toilet Room. (you can see the toilet in the mirror).

Again  - super dark image for some reason (wasn't that dark in-game, *shrugs*) of Master Bedroom. Rather unMastery if you ask me, however...

Nursery attached to Master Bedroom.
This is the insanely pink Nursery attached to the Master Bedroom. I may just knock downt he wall and expand the Master into this room to really give it that grand-waste-of-space feel. Not that they spend ANY time here. Almost all their time is spend in the Basement. I should just put rooms down there..

Speaking of which:

The Basement
Sam's Workspace
This is where Sam does (or did) his inventing. His daughter (er, one of the Triplets...Raea? I think) has started dabbling in here as well.

A peek at his greatest inveniton: The Time Machine
Which is behind a secret door.

Elizabeth's Art Shop
Next door is Elizabeth's work room, where she does all her sculpting ^_^ As you can see, she's hard at work.

Doing Mining and even Stone Carving can lead you to a lot of gems - but then what are you to do with them?
Have a Collection Room of course! So here it is, just off Elizabeth's workshop is the bathroom and then down the hall is the Collection room, with all their Plumbob shaped gems and a nice cozy coffin for Everard (since he's a vampire now). After all, what better person to guard your valuables than your undead son, right?

Well, there you have it Lone Wolfe Manor and the Sekemoto House.

The Sekemoto Family: Expanded

Lyer Roads, still hard at work helping those stuck between planes.

When the city decided to recognize is extraordinary abilities with a ceremony! He also recievd the Ghost Hunter's Key to the City!

Sam Sekemoto
In the Meantime, Sam was hard at work on his greatest invention: The Time Machine! How should he try it out? Go to the Past or the Future? Sam decided to take a ride to the future first. After being saved by telepathic dolphines and being nearly sucked out an air lock on the space station, he returned home with a few futuristic coins to show for it.

Aurora Sekemoto: Child
Aurora grows into a pretty young child.

Everard Sekemoto
Everard grows into a handsome young teen. :)

Trip to Egypt.

Sam, Elizabeth, and their son Everard Sekemoto decide to visit the far off lands of Egypt, leaving their young daughter Aurora in her grandparent's care.

While Elizabeth tackles a small ruin.

Sam can't help but explore the Great Pyramid!

However, exploration isn't as easy as it looks - as Sam finds out first hand after encountering several Flame traps. Luckily he was only a bit singed and the next Water trap washed him off thoroughly. With time running out on the families Visa, Sam was forced to return home before he could fully explore the Pyramid - but Sam still hopes to find his greatest discovery, the Mummy, next time!

Rhapsody Pyels: Young Adult
Rhapsody grows into a Young Adult and acclaimed, best-selling author!

After a concerned word from City Hall about Sam's...experiments in the Lab, the Sekemoto family decides its high time to find a house of their own. Relocating to Lone Wolfe Manor, Sam is quick to set up his New time machine and take a trip to the Past!

While in the Past, Sam saves an orphan from a rampant carage - however this boy looks suprisingly like..himself! The boy is quick to attach himself to his rescuer and follows him home through the Time Stream.

Alfred Sekemoto: Child
An undetermined ancestor of Sam Sekemoto, Alfred is now Sam's adopted child!

Everard hard at work at the Drafting Table.

And becomes quite the acclaimed artist!
Acknowleding his skills, Everard joins his younger sister Aurora in the Painter's career. (BTW, this is - in my opinion- the awesomest painting in the game!)

Everard Sekemoto: Young Adult
Everard grows into a Young Adult.

Aurora Sekemoto: Teen
While Aurora becomes a Teen!

Everard attempted a bit of flirting at the local Fire Station, but his interest ended up more interested in his blood than his charm! What does this strange bite mean for Everard's future?

After patching up her faltering relationship with Sam (no one likes to be cursed with snakes, even if it IS by accident!), Elizabeth becomes pregnant again - and gives birth to TRIPLETS!

Meet the Triplets

Aya Sekemoto: Toddler
Aya is an Excitable and Athletic toddler, in the sign of Taurus. Her eyes are Purple like her mother Elizabeth's and she is the only Sekemoto child without black hair (her hair is brown).

Kaede Sekemoto
Kaede hates the Outdoors and is Easily Impressed, falling under the sign of Libra. Her eyes are a light, sage green and she has the traditional black hair of the family.

Raea Sekemoto
Raea, as if in opposition to her sister Kaede, loves the Outdoors and is rather Eccentric. She is born under the sign of Scorpio and has beautiful blue eyes.

Everard's bite turned out ot be more than just a mere love sign and soon after the triplets birthday, his metamorphosis was complete! Everard is now a Vampire.

Alfred Sekemoto: Teen
Meanwhile, Alfred becomes a Teen. He now dreams of becoming an Astronaut.

Elizabeth decides to see, just what is this Time Machine all about? However, her trip to the Future turns out rather uneventful.
Sam, on the other hand, is becoming quite the Time Traveller, returning in a spiffy new suit. Having topped the Inventor's career, Sam decides to try his hand at the Science Lab in order to attain his lifelong wish of creating a Monster. Perhaps biology holds the answer?
Meanwhile, the Triplets become Children.

Aya Sekemoto: Child
Gains the Neat trait.

Raea Sekemoto: Child
Gains the Coward trait.

Kaede Sekemoto: Child
Also gains the Neat trait.
